P1 Parent Night
P1 students are under their study of the Personal Histories Unit. In this unit, they not only learn from others about their own history and culture, but also discover the history of themselves by collecting their favorite toys into one box and drawing their own timelines. On Sep 26th, they held a Parent Night to show their parents how they grow.
Parent Workshop
On Oct 9th, the first Parent Workshop of this semester was held in auditorium. Our Head of ELL and World Languages Ms Kim Peters held the workshop. Kim is not only a polyglot who speaks English, Japanese, Chinese, Korean and German, but also attains 7 degrees including two masters degrees (Economics and Education) from 4 different countries in 4 different languages. She shared her experiences with parents about how to develop students’ interests in speaking English and help improve their English at home.
Principal Tea
On Oct 10th, parents were given the opportunity to attend a special Principal Tea, communicating with our Secondary Principal Dr. Ann Wagner and Academic Principal and Primary Principal Mr Brian Rotunno. Both principals explained about the updates in both Secondary and Primary school, mainly focusing on academic issues. Parents appreciated this platform to hear from the school executive team and raise their ideas alike.
EY Assembly
On Oct 10th, EY students got together for an assembly themed Open-minded. Our students are encouraged to be open-minded. Open-mindedness helps students to learn and grow, while also prepares students for a more complicated future.
Secondary Assembly
Secondary school held an assembly on Oct 10th for the upcoming Week Without Walls events. Secondary students will have the opportunity to spread their wings beyond the campus. During Week Without Walls students will spend important learning time in new environments while building relationships with their fellow students.
A Visit to Yakult
G9 and G11 students paid a visit to Yakult factory on Oct 10th as a part of their Business class. They were guided to tour around the workshop of the factory after given a brief introduction to the history and the product lines of Yakult group. The magnificent automatic equipment and its management strongly impressed the students.
