Overview

Boston International School Library is a place establishing and maintaining resources that support the academic, linguistic and cultural needs of learners which will:

-build a direct relationship with teachers and students by supporting in planning and teaching IB curriculum.

-help students establish the knowledge, skills and understanding about reading in order to develop into life-long readers.

-promote digital citizenship and digital literacy, prepare students to take ownership of their digital lives.

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

 

Overview

PYP Students have the Library session every week which foster inquiry based learning through intergrating the reading activities with PYP transdisciplinary themes, developing ATL skills.

SECONDARY SCHOOL

 

Overview

G6-10 students have Library session every second week. Librarian collaborates with English teachers to provide relevant instruction to support ELA program and research-based activities.
