On the morning of April 9, Mr. Li Dachao, Director of the UNESCO Health Work Committee of the National People’s Congress of Weihai, Mr. Liu Yubo, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the People’s Congress of Huancui District of Weihai City, and eight NPC members of Weihai visited our school, accompanied by Mr. Gu Wanchun, Director of the Teacher Development Center of Wuxi High-tech Zone (Xinwu District), and Mr. Zhu Huilin, Deputy Director of the UNESCO Health Work Committee of the Standing Committee of the NPC. Ms. Sue Su, Executive President, and Mr. Rob Stewart, Executive Principal, warmly welcomed guests from afar.

With the recovery of all things and the bright spring, there is a vibrant scene on campus. During the campus tour, Ms. Sue Su introduced in detail the facilities, curriculum, students, faculty and etc. The delegates highly recognized our school culture and praised the decision of Xinwu District government to invest in the construction of such an international school.

In the school auditorium, they watched the admission video and had a deeper understanding of the mission of our school – to cultivate global citizens for lifelong learning.

At last, the delegates said that in the future they would lead more international educators and representatives of foreign enterprises from Weihai to visit our school. At the same time, they also hoped that Boston International School would bring her advanced educational ideas and settle in Weihai, which would further carry forward her mission.
