Parent Workshop – Phonics

On November 4th, Mr. David Bremner, our PYP Coordinator, Ms. Amy Darden, one of our elementary teachers and three student volunteers from elementary school, delivered a Parent Workshop on Phonics.

Mr. Bremner introduced the main structure of Phonics as well as the unique teaching methods applied here at BIS. Throwing impromptu questions to students, Mr. Bremner gave parents a vivid scene of how students with different language and culture background learn Phonics.

Parent Reading

Start from last week, we have launched a new library program of Parent Reading. By inviting our talented parents as guest readers at library, we aim at enhancing the communication between the school and parents, as well as providing students with new reading experience in order to further raise their interests in reading.

ACAMIS Volleyball Tournament

Congratulations to Boston Panthers on completing ACAMIS Volleyball Tournament on October 31st! Students went to SSIS in Suzhou for the tournament, competing with 5 other teams from international schools around Jiangsu Province.
