Class of 2022 Offers & Future College Ready Week

To raise schoolwide college awareness, BIS runs a Future College Ready Week! Through activities, conversations, presentations and celebrations, our college counselling team were keen to bring the atmosphere of pursuit towards higher education to our campus.

There was a theme for each day:

Major Monday

Students discussed matching future career goals to college majors, how the classes they are even taking right now connect to colleges and their potential careers in the future.

Tuesday Talks

Grade 12 students introduced their future careers as contributions to a sustainable future, why they chose them, and the majors they will study on track to their careers.

Wishful Wednesday

Students designed their own college student ID cards and/or college diplomas as they imagined and pledged to obtain the graduation certificate they wish for their future.

Throwback Thursday

Teachers shared their college experiences.

During the Secondary Assembly, G12 students excitedly revealed their college choices! As of April 29, they have received around 50 offers from top institutions around the world, including:
