Equestrian Experience

On May 27th, students of Boston International School had a great experience of horse riding on campus as Mornsun Equestrian Academy paid a visit to the school. Two beautiful horses and a pony cheered the students up. They’ve got the opportunities to pet the horses and a few were even able to ride the horses using a protective helmet and vest.

The Equestrian Academy has also extended their invitation to our students for the “2020 China Equestrian Youth Cup”, which is going to be held on October 24-25, 2020, by the Equestrian Association of China.

Cross-grading Buddies between P3 and G11

This week, our G11 business students moved their classroom to the primary building. By using their experience in business practice and theories, Grade 11s helped P3 students to design their products. The P3 unit of inquiry is ‘Money , Markets, Business’ which sounds big. G11 students were able to break it down to practical and easy-to-follow knowledge: the customer, the product, the pricing, the promotion and the place. Each G11 student was assigned to different groups of P3 students according to their languages and preference. All groups accomplished designing their games to attract their children customers and maximize their profits. They learned so fast and we can see the young entrepreneurship is growing.

P4 Trip of Art

For their Unit of Inquiry, P4 are learning about different forms of art. The central idea is “people create and appreciate different forms of art for many reasons”. On May 28th, P4 students took a short bus ride to the Phoenix Art Island and enjoyed exploring and appreciating different forms of art.
