Highlights of the Year 2022

The end of 2022 has presented a different sort of ending for all of us. At the same time, it is a time to celebrate: a time of relaxation and rejuvenation, a time to reflect on the year that has past, and a time to celebrate during the holiday season.

Authorization and Accreditation

WASC

BIS has been accredited as a WASC member school for another three years through 2025! As the only school in Wuxi that is both IB-authorized and WASC accredited, BIS believes that we continue to provide excellent opportunities for students, parents, and other stakeholders.

National Honor Society

BIS is proud to announce that we have opened a National Honor Society Chapter! BIS is 1 of only 3 schools in the Mainland of China to offer NHS to its students.

NatStuCo

BIS has joined the National Student Council Organization. This organization, called NatStuCo, is a professional group out of the US that encourages and promotes Student Council activities throughout North America and other international schools. It is sponsored by the National Association of Secondary School Principals.

the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award

BIS is proud to announce that it has completed the Award Centre licensing process with The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award China (China NAO)! The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award is the world’s leading youth achievement Award and equips young people for life in over 140 countries and territories across the globe.
