Education Bureau and Relative Authorities of Xinwu District Visited on Epidemic Prevention of School Bus

On March 5th, Mr. Fei Yufeng and Mr. Lu Jianfeng from Education Bureau of Xinwu District led a team with supervisors from Traffic Police of Xinwu District, Health Supervision and Road Administration Department of the District and the Xinan community, to visit BIS on Epidemic Prevention of School Bus, accompanied by BIS Executive President Ms. Sue Su, etc.

The school bus is the major way for students’ daily transportation, so the epidemic prevention for school bus is one of the priorities. During this visit, BIS team and school bus management company firstly presented the safety measures that were taken on school buses currently and the epidemic prevention process and conduction rules for emergency cases after school reopening.

Then Mr. Fei Yufeng, the Division Chief of Education Bureau and all got on the school bus and observed the safety insurance and the stock of prevention materials status. They checked and reviewed in details carefully in aspects of the epidemic prevention process, the school bus license authority, risk analysis and prevention on school bus route, school bus coordinating staff assignment, school bus safety training, detailed record on school bus, etc.

Mr. Fei Yufeng highly praised our school bus management work and gave guidance and requirement on epidemic prevention:

Clear and detailed record in aspects of driver, students, bus coordinating staff, prevention materials for each bus.

School bus safety training should be conducted online to ensure the safety and ability to prevent the epidemic.

All the prevention regulation and rules should be conducted properly, eg. body temperature test and monitoring, vomitus disposal, etc.

Well prepared for seat arrangement and conduct the necessary emergency drill to act properly in danger or any unexpected situation.

Besides, Mr. Fei Yufeng required us to organize emergency and accident escape drills to enable students, drivers and school bus coordinating staff for self-protection and emergency and accident escape.

BIS strengthened the safety management and epidemic prevention furtherly based on the guidance from this visit. We will clear the responsibility for everyone who will be involved to ensure our safety school bus and safety campus.
