BIS Students Winning Awards on ASDAN Business Simulation!

The past weekend was intensive and full of tension for students who participated in ASDAN Business Simulation.

On November 7th and 8th, BIS hosted ASDAN Business Simulation Regional Game for Eastern China, which is the first-ever ASDAN Business Simulation held in Wuxi. 15 teams from 7 schools of Eastern China gathered at BIS.

ASDAN Business Simulation is based on a professional business simulation IT system, which fully simulates the business competition activities and the real market environment using decision-making processes from rounds of company operations. Energetic Young Entrepreneurs

Before the Opening Ceremony, young entrepreneurs in formal suits gathered at BIS from different cities. They started their special ASDAN business trip with signing their names on the billboard.

Opening Ceremony

All students were warmly welcomed by Ms. Claudina Freire, Project & Academic Manager of Business Department and Mr. Brian Rotunno, Academic Principal of Boston International School. Then the whole flow and instruction were given to participate teams.

Operation Rounds

In Operation Rounds, all the companies need to formulate their operating plans by analyzing the marketing situation, calculating operational costs and managing budgets control in order to achieve maximized profits within limited funds, therefore improve their market competitiveness. Company Roadshows and Business Battles

In Roadshows and Business Battles, companies displayed their branding images and marketing campaigns carefully. With beautifully designed posters and powerpoints, they presented their brands and products to judges and other companies.

Auction

In the Auction Round, companies went through a fierce auction round to buy materials and machines from the government, and then each company may negotiate or trade with one another to get the resources they need.
