We would like to share with you that our Admission Office is now fully functional online for all inquiries.

To ensure the safety of our community, we are sorry that we cannot accommodate any onsite campus visits currently but will notify you once school reopens and ready for campus visits arrangements. (The reopen date will be in accordance with government policies).

Academic

Boston International School is the ONLY IB Continuum School in Wuxi which is authorized by IB Organization to offer EY, PYP, MYP and DP courses.

The school has also officially become Cambridge Education member school in January 2019 to offer Cambridge IGCSE classes in High School, and is authorized by American College Board to offer Advanced Placement classes.

04 University Visit

BIS is proud of its signature College Counseling Program. The program not only prepares students for academic work at the university level, but also assists students in finding the university with the right fit. While learning about the more than 20 universities which have visited BIS last semester, these visits also provide opportunities for our students and parents to communicate directly with admission officers and provide an opportunity for students to discover their passions and what they truly want to do.

Extended Programs

01 Boston Panthers

Boston Panthers have represented BIS well in sports and competitions. As members of ACAMIS, SYAC and CISSA, the school hosted a cross country tournament, basketball and soccer games, while also participating in games held at other schools in and around Wuxi.

02 Boston Explorers Program

The Boston Explorers Program (B.E.) provided a variety of co-curricular activities after school. Students were offered more than 90 choices of activities each quarter including clubs, academic support, and sports programs.

03 House System

BIS students belong to four houses: the Phoenix House, the Dragon House, the Qilin House and the Tianma House. Instilling healthy competition among houses, students have the opportunity to compete with one another and earn points for their house, collaborating and sharing a community across grade levels.

Colorful Campus Events

01 International Day

Is it possible to travel around the world in one day without even stepping out of the campus? In Boston International School, everyone enjoyed such a unique experience as the school celebrated its annual International Day once a year.

02 Halloween Party

We celebrated the most creative day of the year! Students and teachers alike dress up in costumes and celebrate with a parade, trick-or-treating, a haunted house, and a scary movie.

03 Winter Concert

Students have so much fun during Christmas week every year! Last year, students showcased their talents during Winter Concert performances, the Elf on the Twelfth gave out house points for students dressed in holiday attire, classrooms studied holiday traditions, and the student council ended the week of festivities with a small canteen gathering for students.

04 CNY Show

As an international school, we respect and cherish the culture of our host country. Boston International School is filled with a strong atmosphere of joy and happiness during Chinese New Year season every year with our students celebrating Chinese New Year with their amazing talents!

Facilities

At Boston International School, students can enjoy both high quality teaching, and first class facilities at the same time. Our campus is made up of several academic buildings and shared facilities.

01 Performance Art Center

BIS enjoys a first-rate Performance Art Center, with instrument training room, theatre room, dance room and piano room. The PA Center is very commonly used in major events and assemblies, providing a stage for all talented students.

02 Boarding System

The residential program opened for students from G6. More than 20 students are enjoying their boarding life on campus. With an advanced facility, high security, and strong academic support, students from inside and outside if Wuxi are well cared for on campus.

03 Library

BIS School Library has endeavored to provide opportunities for the school community to connect with books and rekindle their love for reading. We regularly invited authors and illustrators to visit the school. Book Fairs also take place every semester!

04 Laboratory

BIS is equipped with the laboratory system containing laboratory, chemical storage rooms and CCTV room that not only meets the regulations but also is recognized by the government as a model school.

05 Canteen

We pay great attention to food quality and safety. Recently, Boston International School is honored to be listed by Wuxi Market Supervision and Administration as one of the Food Quality and Safety Representative Restaurants of Jiangsu Province.

06 Gym & Track Field

For sports, there are indoor stadium, gym with shower area, tennis court, basketball court, track& field and constant temperature swimming pool (coming soon).

07 EY Center

EY students have their own dedicated building. With an extensive range of specialty rooms: light studio, construction room, atelier and etc. Children are encouraged to discover and learn at all times. Along with the external play area, the center is completely fenced to protect children’s safety.
