BIS Annual Dinner – A Yearly Report for Your Review

On the evening of January 17th, Boston International School held its Annual Dinner in Wuxi Junlai Hubin Hotel. Our executive team, faculty members, and staff not only showed their amazing talents, but also highlighted our success and results of the past year through their brilliant performances.

Continuous Development and Active Progress

The Annual Dinner started with a review video, which showed some important moments throughout the year. Our faculty has continuously improved and held IB curriculum training sessions every month. Teachers also attended local and international IB official trainingboth on and outside of the campus. Students were encouraged to attend local, national and international academic and sports competitions. Admission officers from over 30 universities paid their visits to our school. Students were offered more than 90 choices of extra-curricular activities each quarter. We also provided parents with Parent Workshopsand Principal Teas. On the path of improving teaching quality, we are passionate enough to regard education as our foundation and prepare lifelong learners capable of meaningful global impact.

Work Together and Forge Ahead

BIS Executive Principal Mr. Rob Stewart made a speech to summarize our achievements. Under the joint effort of our faculty and staff, as well as from all sectors of the community, our student number had elevated substantially. We have shown parents and the Wuxi community that BIS and its curriculum program is comprehensive and meets world class International standards. BIS appreciate the great help from the board, from our parents, and from the government. We are very proud to see Boston as a successful education brand in local community.

God Rewards the Diligent

BIS Executive President Ms. Sue Su gave her speech to review the past year. Firstly, BIS has been actively optimizing and upgrading the management for faculty and all sectors of operations, a group of excellent foreign and Chinese teachers has also joined the team. We have made remarkable progress with the concerted efforts. Additionally, BIS has been actively supporting and contributing to the construction of the regional quality education community, strengthening collaboration with organizations, groups, companies and other sectors from the society, in promoting the Boston education brand.

Ms. Su also stressed out that good education always takes time. She believes that a high-quality education brand needs dedication to strive for continuous improvement of teaching and service.

Enthusiasm, Multi-culture and Innovation

During the Annual Dinner, teachers and staff presented wonderful performances. With teachers from all over the world, we not only enjoyed a stage of multi-national cultures, but also Chinese culture performances presented by foreign teachers! Our Admin staff also showed their creativities and innovation through their performances. Finally, the Annual Dinner concluded with the singing “I Love You, China” by both Chinese and foreign teachers and staff, which showed their love to China and their heartful blesses to Chinese New Year!
