01 IBDP Training

On Aug 22^nd, our DP Coordinator Matt Kirk held a session about IBDP Examination Results, which made a great chance for secondary teachers to promote themselves. Trainings and workshops are held regularly at BIS for professional development.

02 PYP Assembly

In the morning of Aug 28^th, PYP students and parents gathered at the auditorium for their first assembly of this school year. A warm greeting was firstly given to the audience by our Primary Principal Brian Rotunno, following by PYP Coordinator David Bremner’s presentation and interaction with students and parents.

03 BPA Election

Boston Parent Association held the first meeting of the new school year on Aug 28^th, during which parents nominated new committee members of this year. On behalf of our parents, BPA will cooperate with the school in promoting school affairs and organizing events.

04 Evacuation Drill

An evacuation drill was held on Aug 29^th. Upon the ringing of the alarm bell, all students responded appropriately under the guidance of their teachers. BIS has developed an integrated emergency procedure to ensure the safety of our students. Besides, we are also applying CCTV monitoring system, whole school supervision process, AQI supervising, allergy prevention, etc.
