Secondary Academic Highlight – Drama

Beginner Drama (G6 pictured below) have been learning about plot structure and storyboards. Here, some G6 students are pitching their ideas for a movie of their own creation to a mock-studio board.

Advanced Drama has been exploring Devised Theater and how they can affect social change through the medium of theater. Below, G7 Advanced Drama are improvising a scene about dealing with separation and the issues faced by children who live in a foreign country.

G10 Drama got to learn from G2 about characters and inner and outer characteristics before creating their own absurd characters. G10 focused on theater in the 20^th century and how real life affects theatre and the ways we are entertained. They explored some traditional Dadaist poetry as pictured at the very bottom.
