First Contact in Social Life

The topic of unit 2 in Grade 7 is a countries overview of the major German-speaking countries: Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Liechtenstein. In this unit the students got to know about the society, technology, economic, politic and different customs in these four countries. G7 students were asked to organize their knowledge of each countries in groups. As the information is complicated, they could use English to do the presentation.

The topic of this unit showed the major information of four German speaking countries and also has combined with the IB key concepts: culture, systems and global interaction. We provided structures of different societies, so the students can have a better concept of the social systems.
