Week 4 – Summer Wonderland
Little Stars
Age 2 to 4
How time flies! We are entering the last week of our BIS Early Years Summer Camp. It was so wonderful to start <Summer Wonderland> adventure with our children this week which has been a rich and busy one for all of us. This week was a little challenge that the teachers encouraged our children of three classes work together as we all believe our children are ready to cooperate with each other from different classes. We did some wonderful activities to keep our children busy during summertime. We made healthy ice cream and crazy water fight on this week! Also celebrate summer with some of awesome summer crafts!!
We love seasons! We love our earth. In order to encourage our children the habit of treating the environment kindly, the teachers started early in teaching our children to recycle paper products. The environment is highly important to the development of everyone, so it is something that needs to be protected. We gave children enough time to fully experience this fun process and inspired them how to use these materials in a creative way and protect our earth. What are you waiting for? Come on and join our summer wonderland adventure!

It was a pleasure to share the classroom with your kids. See you in the next academic year!!

Curious Mind
Age 4 to 6
Welcome to the fourth week of curious mind. This week’s theme is summer wonderland. For this week’s theme, we will keep children happily carrying out this theme through different activities, so that children can be themselves and proceed according to their own interests. First of all, we discussed with the children what is a summer wonderland?
Children shared their thoughts, and during the discussion, they expressed that they would arrange a wonderland in the classroom, some said they would like some coconut trees around the wonderland and boats sailing on the sea, some said that they need to build a swimming pool to swim in, some others said that summer is here and we need to make some ice cream.
Children discussed fiercely, and then they went in groups to find materials and began to arrange their wonderland. Some build small islands, some decorate the islands with coconut trees, some create the sea and the beach. In the process, they negotiated from time to time to build their ideal wonderland together.

Water Fight
For children, playing water fights is indispensable in summer entertainment. In the process of playing in the water, the children released their innocence, and their happiness also infected the teachers.

Ice Cream
After the children understood the steps of making ice cream, they completed the production of Ice cream with the assistance of the teacher. The children enjoyed the ice cream and felt the sense of accomplishment.

How time flies! We spent delighted four weeks together. It is a meaningful and pleasant surrounding for children. Sincerely hope that children will grow up healthily and happily in the future and also look forward to meeting you again next year!
Wish you all a happy holiday!
