Director of Xinwu District Teacher Development Center Visited

On the morning of March.17th, Mr. Gu Wanchun, CPC Working Committee Member of Xinwu Education Bureau and the Director of Xinwu District Teacher Development Center visited Boston International School, accompanied by BIS Executive President Ms. Sue Su and Academic Principal Mr. Brian Rotunno.

Mr. Gu first emphasized the work on epidemic prevention. The school needs to strictly abide by the requirements of the authorities at all levels, implement various epidemic prevention measures, and ensure the safety of every student and staff.

Mr. Brian Rotunno, Academic Principal, then made a report on school achievements, elaborated on the progress in curriculum planning, enrollment, teacher recruitment, etc., and focused on the AP courses added to provide more students with different pathways to higher education.

Mr. Gu gave high praise of the clear thinking for the development of school and excellent achievement. He pointed out that our school should further improve the teaching quality and core competitiveness. University enrollment is the most concerned aspect from parents. School should find out their needs, provide college counselling program, and integrate university resources, so that graduates can go to their ideal universities, so that the universities can recruit satisfied students. Therefore, our school brand will be recognized by both parents and universities, forming a virtuous circle.

BIS Executive President Ms. Sue Su expressed our sincere gratefulness to Mr. Gu’s visit and his guidance. Ms. Sue Su said that under the situation of COVID global pandemic, the school has gradually completed the optimization of the teaching and educational system to better adapt to the new development environment and development needs.
