Deputy Director of WND Management Committee Visited on Epidemic Prevention

On March 6th, Ms. Li Weimin, Deputy Director of WND Management Committee and Chief Executive of Xinwu District; Ms. Zhang Ying, Director of Education Bureau of Xinwu District and Mr Gu Wanchun, Director of Education Development Center of Xinwu District visited BIS to supervise the conduction of epidemic prevention, accompanied by BIS Executive President Ms. Sue Su, etc.

Before entering school, Ms. Li Weimin and all visitors firstly accepted the school epidemic prevention process including body temperature test and monitoring, Wuxi Healthy Code scanning and registration, etc. Then they had a campus tour to supervise the working conduction on epidemic prevention in aspects of the stock of prevention materials, the set-up of temporary medical quarantine room, the prevention arrangement for dormitory and the display board of relative prevention conduction process and rules. They are impressed by the clear guidance sign, optimized route design and well-equipped temporary medical quarantine room.

After that, Ms. Li Weimin and all visitors came to meeting room for a report from BIS. BIS Executive President Ms. Sue Su expressed our sincere appreciation to Ms. Li’s visit and guidance. She said BIS keep considering the epidemic prevention conduction work in priority with high responsibilities and strong determination. BIS SET has established the emergency leading committee against the epidemic as soon as the virus outbreak and organized HR and Admission team to get the latest status of all BIS students and faculty via Wechat and telephone calls. Until now, BIS has been well prepared for the school reopening to ensure the prevention process and rules be planned and implemented smoothly and properly in aspects of abundant prevention materials, adjusted canteen service, school shuttle prevention process, daily life support for foreign families. At the same time, we are continuing to plan and implement E-learning teaching services properly.

Ms. Li Weimin and all visitors reviewed the relative document of school prevention process and rules and highly praised our detailed and considerate prevention work, especially the humanistic care we showed during the prevention conduction. At the same time, Ms. Li Weimin required BIS to continue to keep high attention on epidemic prevention. BIS should cooperate for timely reporting based on requirement from authorities and keep humanistic care when conduct the prevention measures, keep communicating with BIS members on their health and daily life support. Ms. Li Weimin expressed the regards on problems that school might meet currently and gave strong support on behalf of district government.

Mr. Gu Wanchun spoke highly of our online education and epidemic prevention. He also pointed out that the school should carry out more strict measures after reopening to simulate and practice all the prevention process and regulation.
