As DP Coordinator, I was delighted when I opened the IB Diploma results for 2022. In many ways these are our ‘best results ever’, achieving our highest ever score in the DP and with scores and pass rates, once again, well above the world average. I have been thrilled to be contacted by very excited and proud students over the past 24 hours, asking about next steps for sending results to their universities for admissions confirmation. We have many students and subjects that have really shone this year in the IB Diploma – these results truly are a product of two years of consistent effort from students, teachers and many others that have been involved across our BIS community. I am pleased to have been part of this journey and am very proud of these results.
Despite difficult circumstances, our students have triumphed again. We are extremely proud of our students and their efforts, and these results help to show all of their hard work and dedication. They continued to persevere in the face of adversity, and these results help to show why, after just four years as a school, BIS can be competitive with many other schools that have been around for 20 years or more. Additionally, I wish to thank our teachers and parents for their support of our students.

It was fantastic to see our AP results for 2022, which build upon the scores from last academic year. It is great that students have embraced the opportunities at BIS to take AP examinations and earn college credit from Grade 9 onwards, as part of our High School program. Additionally, we now have a number of students on track for AP scholar awards, adding additional value to their high school transcripts. I’d like to offer my personal congratulations to all students that took on the challenge of AP this year and I look forward to BIS increasing its AP class offerings next academic year.
It has been great to see students embracing the challenge of AP. Many of our students take these tests in grade 9-10 although most of the classes and exams are really designed for students in grades 11-12. We are also quite proud that we have our first two anticipated AP Scholar award winners. This is a major accomplishment for our students. I’m so proud of our students and teachers!
