In the Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) held on September, students from BIS won various awards! Among the competitors,
– 1 student from Secondary School were awarded HIGH DISTINCTION
– 2 student awarded DISTINCTION
– 6 students awarded CREDIT
– 25 students awarded PROFICIENCY
The Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) is one of the world’s largest in-school math competitions with 43-year history with over 15,000,000 participants from 32 countries.
AMC is hosted by the Australian Mathematics Trust (AMT) , one of the world’s leading authorities in math. The AMT is based at the University of Canberra with representatives on our board from the Australian Association of Mathematics Teachers, Australian Academy of Science and the Australian Mathematical Society.
