On Feb 21st 2019, Mr. Gu, Ms. Xu, Ms. Pu and Ms. Yin from Xinwu District Education Bureau visited Boston International School for the very first operations inspection of the second semester, accompanied by BIS Executive President Ms. Sue Su, Executive Principal Mr. Rob Stewart, Secondary Principal Ms. Ann Wagner and Student Services Director/College Counselor Mr. Michael Wagner.
First of all, Mr. Rob Stewart presented BIS faculty team, admissions, accreditation and curriculum, activities and events for the first semester of 2018-2019 school year. He continued to report the plan for next school year. Ms. Sue Su concluded the key points of first semester, which was to build a completed school operation and academic management system in order to set a solid foundation for school’s smooth operation. In the coming school year, we will continue to optimize our system, improve teaching quality and broaden the international vision of our staff with professional development. We will keep on building our brand and school culture, and strengthen communications both in China and abroad.
Mr. Gu recognized the accomplishment of our first semester and gave suggestions on school daily operations. He also expressed a great expectation of the future development of BIS.
Mr. Gu had a campus tour together with BIS management team afterwards. With the Chinese New Year decorations around the campus, he appreciated that our school understands and respects different cultures.
