Firstly, Mr. Wang and Ms. Li took a campus tour. They praised the international atmosphere at BIS. From the architectural design to decoration pattern, from teacher-student ratio to management model, everything is in line with the true international school standards.
After the campus tour, the group had a meeting in the Board Room. Ms. Sue Su reported on the school operation since 2018, in terms of enrollment, faculty, accreditation and authorization, school activities etc. in the past six months. With the joint efforts from all staff, school has made great achievement in the first semester. Then Ms. Sue Su outlined the vision of future development of the school.
After listening to the report, Mr. Wang first affirmed the school achievement and had a lot of confidence in our school. He said that the Xinwu District government made a correct decision on investing on the construction of Boston International School, which should continue to carry on. By fulfilling the children’s education needs of foreign employees, we can help to retain the foreign experts and talents in Wuxi. For the development of the school, Mr. Wang suggested that based on a stable daily operation, the school should continue to increase enrollment, strengthen faculty team, and establish the top-tier education brand.
Next, the group discussed some current issues of school development. Ms. Li said that the Xinwu District Government would continue to support the development of Boston International School and work together with our school to build a first-class international school in Wuxi.
Since the establishment of the Boston International School, it has been strongly supported by the Wuxi Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government and the Xinwu District Committee and District Government. This visit was also to discuss the future issues that we might have to face to during the school development, and to help our school to become better. We believe that with the help and support from the government and the Wuxi community, BIS will become better and stronger!
