Welcome back to school! The second semester of this school year has started smoothly with the dedication of our staff, the energy and passion of our students and the support from our parents and friends.
Professional Development – UnConference
On February 22nd, the day before the first day back to school, all staff attended three sessions of an UnConference, which creates space for peer-to-peer learning, collaboration and creativity.
At the start of the day, the whole group gathered together in the auditorium, where everyone shared a topic they wanted to discuss. Afterwards, all the topics were sorted out into nearly 30 discussion groups within three sessions. The discussion was inspiring to every participant, providing them new ideas, letting them answer one anothers’ questions, discuss with peer teachers and staff from all divisions and reflecting on their own practices.
The faculty went on for divisional gatherings in the afternoon, making sure they made all the necessary preparations for the new semester. The whole staff team works to better themselves in every aspect and deliver the best education to our students.
