1 Parent Workshop – Lazy Days of Summer: Not!
On May 29, the 8th Parent Workshop of this semester was held, presenting by our Student Services Director and College Counsellor Mr. Michael Wagner with the theme of “Lazy Days of Summer: Not!”.
According to Mr. Wagner, students should seize their summer holidays to prepare themselves for college application, no matter what grade they are in. He gave different summer suggestions to students in different grades.
On the same day, our Head of ELL and World Language Ms. Kim Peters also presented her suggestions for students to improving their language abilities. Ms. Peters is not only a polyglot who speaks English, Japanese, Chinese, Korea and German; but also attains 7 degrees including two master’s degrees (Economics and Education) from 4 different countries in 4 different languages.

2 ECA Theatre – the Little Prince
BIS places equal emphasis on students’ intellectual and personal development, encouraging them to learn from everything they do. We offer a wide and diverse range of activities (ECAs) that are geared towards developing interests and skills in a wide range. Students who are obsessed with acting also find their stage. Theatre ECA students gave us a fantastic debut performance on May 31. The drama theatre The Little Prince was designed and directed all by students themselves.
