On January 19th, Boston Parent Association (BPA) hosted a Chinese New Year Charity Bazaar at Boston International School.
With dozens of local and international vendors selling a wide variety of handicrafts, tasty handmade snacks as well as DIY workshops and amazing stage performances, our shoppers were entertained throughout the day.
BPA will donate the total sales to Xi Chang Charity Social Service Center, a charity organization located in southern-west of Sichuan Province. Children in the center are orphans whose parents have died of AIDS. These children also have contacted AIDS through their mothers and are now living in poverty. Fortunately, they are cared and led by a warm-hearted teacher.
We raised about 15,000 RMB as total revenue which will be donated soon. It was a great pleasure to share love and warmness in a chilling weather. Great appreciation to all who organized and participated the event!
