In the ASDAN Business Simulation Regional Round held in November last year, 11 students from BIS achieved great results and got tickets to the 2021 ASDAN All-star Competition.
The 2021 ASDAN All-Star Competition is composed of ASDAN All-Star Business Simulation, London Institute of Banking & Finance (LIBF) National Round, and the European Economics Olympiad (EEO) National Round. Participants will unlock different themes in each module to embrace business, finance, and economics. In the ASDAN All-Star Business Simulation, the competition is a virtual marketplace in which students can establish and manage their own businesses.
During the four days of the competition, our students have devoted themselves to the activities. The All-Star Round is much tougher than the regional round. There are 7 rounds of operations, an auction round and 3 government biddings involved. The students have to overcome different barriers to accomplish these tasks online and on time. From day to night, they spent over 15 hours every day preparing the 7 operation rounds, presentations and auction.
The students have to face a lot of challenges during the game, yet they have shown their spirit of the IB learner profiles and the motto of our school: Embracing challenge, driving change
