Aug 12th 2019 marks the first day of 2019/2020 school year. The 2019/2020 School Year looms as an amazing opportunity for all of us at Boston International School to raise the bar in the standards and practices we expect from all members of the BIS community. We look forward to new possibilities, more inspirations and more actions.
First Day of School
On the morning of Aug 12th, students arrived at campus where all of our teachers awaiting. Excited and energetic, students and teachers greeted each other and then headed to their homerooms. A whole school assembly was then held in the auditorium with all students, faculty and staff, during which students were warmly welcomed by our Executive Principal Mr. Rob Stewart and introduced to the new faculty team.
After a fresh day of joy, students were well ordered and escorted by their teachers either to their parents or to school buses, marking the end of day as well as a great start.
Orientation Day
On Aug 9th, we held the Orientation Day for the new school year. In the morning, all faculty members got together waiting for students who have been off campus for two months as well as for newly enrolled students.
Students and parents were warmly welcomed and toured around the campus. In the canteen, we also set up several booths for specific needs like school buses, uniforms and boarding.
Faculty Preparation
For the past two weeks before the start of this semester, all of our faculty and staff members were busy preparing and planning their learning programs, decorating classrooms and making sure all the facilities being in good condition.
Besides, our new teachers adapted themselves to the new environment quickly under the guidance of former teachers and our staff members.
We are proud of the great kick-off of the new school year and looking forward to a better future!
