Secretary of the Xinwu District Committee Visited BIS

On the afternoon of June 8, Mr. Rongguo Cui, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Wuxi High-tech Zone, Jiangsu Province, Secretary of the Xinwu District Committee of Wuxi City led a visit group to Boston International School, along with Mr. Yang Han, Member of the Party Working Committee of the High-tech Zone, member of the Standing Committee of the Xinwu District Committee, and Minister of the Organization Department; Mr. Lei Sun, Deputy Director of Wuxi High-tech Zone Management Committee, Vice Director of Xinwu District (In charge of education part), Member of Party Leadership Group; Mr. Ke Wu, Vice Director of the High-tech Zone Management Committee, Vice Director of Xinwu District; and heads of different departments: Party and Government Office, Commission Office for Public Sector Reform, Development and Reform Commission, Education Bureau, Housing and Urban-rural Development Bureau, Natural Resources Planning Sub-bureau. BISExecutive President Ms. Sue Su, Academic Principal Mr. Brian Rotunno and other members of school leadership team.

Mr. Cui and the group took a tour around the campus, including academic buildings, playground, the performing art center, and etc. They learned about the features of the school education and curriculum. He stressed that the quality of international education is essential to optimizing the supply of regional education resources, building high-quality education brands, improving the business environment, and enhancing the core competitiveness of the region. Related government departments should bolster the instruction and support towards international education, continue to develop the highlights of the school, and improve the education quality.
