As IB philosophy had pointed out, creativity and innovation will be two of the most important elements that prepare students for future challenges. As an IB continuum school, Boston International School always lay great emphasis on students’ scientific and technological studies in order to develop their abilities to adapt the constantly changing world.
The research projects covered various areas from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Health Science, Design and other subjects. The Science Fair has provided students a great stage to perform their creative minds and research outcomes.
A few stunning and simple experiments can show us how ubiquitous center of gravity is in our life. Whenever you are standing, sitting, and even sleeping, center of gravity collaborates with gravity on making sure that you are stable and safe.
All three samples were cultivated for 120 hours. It shows that both foods items that have been dropped gained a significant number of bacteria, especially the cracker that has been dropped on the floor. After completing this experiment, it shows that the five second rule is not true.
As a result, lemon with baking soda reacts most. Lemon juice contains citric acid which when mixed with the base, baking soda (sodium bicarbonate), reacts to form carbon dioxide and sodium citrate which causes the liquid to fizz and bubble.
