“Education is our passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.” ― Malcolm X
This past weekend, Boston International School held a series of IB related Professional Development Workshops for our teachers and related staff members. These IB workshops are tend to give teachers an opportunity to work as a group, to share, to discuss and to inquire any new ideas regarding IB programs. At the same time, to enable all of our teachers to be on top of any updates from IB organization for the most recent standards and practices or program arrangements. It is also a perfect time for cross-subject teachers to work and discuss together, to create new ideas and make actions together afterwards.
During these workshops, there were countless discussions, group projects, poster makings, moving around in the classrooms, etc., which are exactly how our classrooms with students would look like on the normal school day, and what our students have been doing all the time. It was a very exciting weekend with everyone on campus, working together as a strong team to make our program stronger and better.
We are very honored to have these wonderful presenters on BIS campus to help all of us learn something new about IB from many different aspects.
