On September 20^th, Boston International School Executive President Ms. Sue Su, Executive Principal Mr. Rob Stewart, Secondary Principal Ms. Ann Wagner, Primary Principal Mr. Brian Rotunno of the management team and several representatives of BIS foreign faculty team were invited to join in the Evening Gala Party named ‘Moonlight over 2^nd Spring, Erhu Rhythm, Wuxi Emotion’ in the ancient Xihui Garden.

The Gala Party was sponsored by Party and Labor Committee of Wuxi High-tech Zone, Wuxi Xinwu District People’s government, Wuxi Municipal Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and Wuxi Culture Tourism Development Group, organized by Xinwu District Association for Friendship with Foreigners, it was aimed to enhance the international communication and inherit traditional Wuxi Local Culture. Up to 165 foreign fellows from 25 different countries joined in the party together.

The Party began with the generous opening speech from Mr. Wang Jinjian, the Deputy Mayor of Wuxi Municipal People’s Government, the Secretary of Party and Labor Committee of Wuxi High-tech Zone, the Secretary of Xinwu District Party Committee. During the party, BIS foreign faculty choir team presented the wonderful performance of singing ‘I love you, China’. The soulful singing in Chinese by the foreign teachers generated the enthusiasm of all the audiences down stage. After the performance, Ms. Liu Beihong, the President of Wuxi Xinwu District’s Committee of CPPCC, highly praised the outstanding performance and expressed her appreciation for support from Boston International School; Mr. Deng Jiangdong, a worldwide renowned Erhu musician and the Wuxi City Image Ambassador of Friendship with Foreign Countries, highly praised the great meaningfulness for this performance and said he was fully touched by it.

“I love you, China! I love your boundless Forest, I love your majestic Mountains; I love your Hospitable People, Always Warm regards to me as old friends!’, this sincere praise were expressed via the beautiful song by the BIS Foreign Faculty Chior with Secondary Principal Ms. Ann Wagner, MYP Coordinator Mr. Robert Young, EY Coordinator Ms. Bibiana Garcia heading the list. They represent the foreign faculty team from Boston International School who love China and love working in China. They would like to sing the most beautiful song for Celebration of 70^th Anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China (PRC).

At the time of coming National Day, Boston International School would like to share this song with you all to express our best wishes to China. Wish a prosperous China and happiest Chinese People.
