As the school year is concluding, the delightful and significant graduation season is here. On June 11th, we spent a night with our G12 graduates to celebrate their graduation, which marks the end of their high school life and the beginning of a new chapter.
Mastered by our DP Coordinator, Mr. Matt Kirk, the ceremony began with a welcome speech from our Academic Principal, Mr. Brian Rotunno.
“For all of these accomplishments and many more, we, your guests tonight, are honored to be here celebrating with you and congratulate you on your determination and perseverance.”
Ms. Gina Smith, I&S Coordinator and Mr. Carlos Arboleda, Student Service Director and College Counsellor, have also gave their speeches that touches everyone’s heart.
“Thriving in this world does not solely rely on predicting circumstances but rather, adapting to unpredicted circumstances.”
Three student representatives also gave their speeches to express their gratitude and happiness.
“The world is open in front of us. We are young, and even though we are closing a chapter, it may be considered the prologue of our lives.”
“Our destinations are completely different; will we ever see each other again? Who knows? But I wish each and every one of you all the best for whatever your future may hold.”
“Facing the unknown road of life ahead, I hope I can be firm in my determination and keep walking. I hope that I will be able to actively experience, feel and touch more beautiful things in a broader environment.”
Words are not the only way to express our feelings. With music performances, photo montage and dancing, our talented teachers and students tried their best to make the night memorable.
