We divided students into different group according to their language level. In Phase 3, student is learning different relationships around his life, especially his relatives and how to communicate with different people. We will compare with student’s own cultural background in order to speed up his understanding.
For current unit, we will design different posters to show different family construction. In order to learn more, we will also introduce different occupations for students and ask them to introduce more about his family. At the same time, we will always practice basic Chinese characters in each class.
In this unit, students will know more about themselves and how to express relationship under different cultural background. People cannot live without connections. Students will learn about family relationships, friendship in China. They can also compare Chinese family relationship with their own country, so that they can know more about Chinese culture.
In terms of IB learner profile, students will become better communicators during class. We will set up different situations for students to communicate with others who has different cultural background.
