Deputy Direct General of Wuxi Education Bureau Visited

On May 21st, Ms. Xiao Jing, Deputy Direct General of Wuxi Education Bureau, Mr. Qiang Hongquan, Head of Social Education Division and Mr. Fei Yufeng, Member CPC Committee and Head of Educational Supervision of Xinwu District Education Bureau led an inspection team on campus safety and visited Boston International School, accompanied by Ms. Sue Su, Executive President, Mr. Brian Rotunno, Academic Principal and relevant staff.

The inspection team gave a comprehensive examination on all aspects that relating to campus safety, including:

Hazardous chemical substance warehouse

The team spoke highly of the hazardous chemical substance control and storage of the school. The purchase, storage, usage and disposal procedure of poisonous and explosive products is to a high standard and in good order. The school has prepared relevant publicity materials, signage, and emergency plans.

School bus management

The school conducts school bus fire drill regularly with clear responsibilities. All school buses are equipped with GPS system and speed limit alarm system, guaranteeing the safety of all students.

Canteen management

The school strictly follows the 5S method under the guidance of the Food and Drug Administration. The canteen ensures that the source of ingredients can be traced, invoices are obtained and stored, the electronic ledger is clear, the catering processes meet the requirements of the industry, and the remote monitoring of the kitchen site is transparent.

The inspection team spoke highly of our work to build a safe campus, while also raised some practical suggestions to better improve the campus environment. The school will continue to conduct a strict management system to create a safe and sound campus that students are happy to study in.
