The personal project formally assesses students’ approaches to learning (ATL) skills for self-management, research, communication, critical and creative thinking, and collaboration.
During the past week, our G10 students presented their Personal Project by presentations and exhibition. This was the culmination of many months of work being done by each G10 student.
- Participate in a sustained, self-directed inquiry within a global context.

- Demonstrate the skills, attitudes and knowledge required to complete a project over an extended period of time.
- Communicate effectively in a variety of situations.
- Demonstrate responsible action through, or as a result of, learning.
- Appreciate the process of learning and take pride in their accomplishments.
This year we had a wide variety of topics, from multiple personality disorder, building a personal computer, the psychological impacts of pandemic, the study on Dreams to the study on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and different personality types. As one of the advantages of the Personal Project, students are able to choose topics they are interested in, which gives an opportunity for them to discover what their strengths are and where their passion lie.
