The first semester of 2018-2019 school year has come to the end! With Christmas around the corner, Boston International School held its Annual Winter Concerts on December 5th and 6th.
On December 5th, our EY and Primary Students presented an incredible Winter Concert – Once Upon A Time in December!
The performance of our little EY students on the stage, including dancing to the happiest of Christmas songs with snowmen and snowflakes, has truly brought joy and happiness to each and every audience.
The EY students are the cutest bundles of joy at BIS. Their performance brought laughter, cheerfulness and complete proudness to all teachers and parents. Watching students perform at such a young age, express their talents and have fun, is truly special.
Our Primary students then brought us a variety of performance, including singing, dancing and some acting to the audience filled with amazed teachers, parents and families. Christmas spirit was throughout the whole performance. P1 students dressed in Unicorn costumes, sang and danced to “A Marshmallow World”; P2 students sang the Zulu prayer for peace “Ukuthula”; P3 students sang the classic “Silent Night” and the “Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Di”, together with two students playing Ukulele; P4 students sang to the beautiful “Winter Wonderland”; and a special Rap performance by our P5 students!
Special Thanks to our wonderful Boston Parents Association for helping decorate our school and inviting Santa Clause to our school! Both of our students and families had a blast at the Santa Photo Booth!
On December 6th, our Secondary Winter concert started with an awesome Saxophone performance by our German teacher and one of our MYP students, followed by a song performed by our talented staff band!
Our secondary students also put on a spectacular show to all of the audience with singing, dancing, and playing with a variety of instruments. It was wonderful to see our secondary students express themselves creatively through music! The audience was impressed with the level of effort and artistic ability of all of our students.
We wish every member of BIS community a Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday! May all students, parents and staff have a well-deserved break and enjoy this time together with your family and friends.
