Early this year, he was introduced by the school that there was The London Institute of Banking & Finance (LIBF) Student Investor Challenge. The preliminary round was divided into 2 parts: Financial Ability Assessment and Stock Exchange Challenge. He joined the first round and didn’t expect much. When the results were released after weeks, he couldn’t believe that he was top ten in China, and he also won a ticket straight to the World Youth Economics Forum: LIBF National Final.
In early August, he formed a team with other top winners from Beijing and took participate in the LIBF National Final. The national round wasn’t easy which has 5 parts: Financial Ability Assessment, Financial Ability Quiz, Financial Ability Case Study, Wall Street Game, and Stock Exchange Challenge.
The London Institute of Banking & Finance (LIBF) Student Investor Challenge has been called the High school version of the “CFA Challenge”, authoritative certificate. It is highly recognized by UCAS and is beneficial for university application in finance related majors. It supports students to advance banking and finance by providing outstanding education and thinking, tailored to the needs of business, individuals, and society.
