In golden autumn September, at the time of coming Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day, Boston International School was invited to several big-scale Festival Celebration Events organized by Wuxi Municipal People’s Government and Wuxi People’s Friendship Association with foreign countries.
The Greatest Showman
On the afternoon of Sep.27th, 2020 Wuxi International Friendship Culture Week was wrapped up with an award ceremony and Art Show of various international performances at Wuxi People’s Great Hall .The Art Show is organized by Wuxi People’s Friendship Association with foreign countries (Hereinafter referred to as ‘Association’) to celebrate the coming Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day. The awarding ceremony was hosted by Wang Xi Nan, the president of the Association, Wuxi Mayor Du Xiaogang attended the event and gave a speech. More than 1000 Expats from 17 countries who are studying, working and living in the city were invited to the event. BIS Executive President Ms. Sue Su, Academic Principal Mr. Brian Rotunno, Student Services Director & College Counselor Mr. Carlos Arboleda, Primary Coordinator Mr. David Bremner, EY Coordinator Ms. Bibiana Garcia and several representatives of BIS foreign faculty team were invited to join in the Event.
During the Art Show, Representatives from BIS foreign faculty team Mr. David Bremmer, Mr. Brian Wallace, Ms. Janine Bezuidenhout and other 8 teachers presented a wonderful Broadway-style show of ‘The greatest Showman’. The Singing and Dancing with great passion and friendly smile faces from the teachers generated the enthusiasm of all the audiences down stage. Just as an old Chinese saying said ‘One minute on stage takes ten years of practice’, to give a best show, BIS teachers have taken several weeks for choreography and practice hundred times. It fully represented the positive outlook of BIS faculty team who always strive for excellent.
