Do you feel under pressure or irritability?
• Extremely high and low moods?
• Excessive fear, worry, or anxiety?
• Social withdrawal?
• Dramatic changes in eating or sleeping habits?
The G12 business students created these two videos to help students to be aware of emotional issues. If you feel under pressure, talk to someone. We hear you!
As a student, you may have been through tough times like getting great pressure from your assignment, break relationships or isolation and loneliness. Through a short mime, students have shown how they will be distressed under different situations.
How to balance yourself? Another group give their answer through an animation:
It is to everyone’s concern of the importance of mental health.
It is to everyone’s concern of the importance of mental health.
She was forced to study online from home as her home country is locked down due to COVID-19. But as a G12 student, she feels lonely as separated from her teachers and classmates. What’s more, she sometimes gets anxious and worried as she feels uncertain towards the future.
Every time she’s got an unhappy face, she will have a chat with her mom. It turns out that talk and being listened are of great importance.
For students at BIS, they can go to the Student Services teachers as well as some other teachers or students to get more help and keep mental health.

ASDAN Business Simulation
The ASDAN Business Simulation has been created in an effort to help the aspiring business leaders and entrepreneurs of tomorrow grasp a better logistical and strategic understanding of how to run a business. Our students had a great opportunity to experience ASDAN Business Simulation in our own classroom.
This semester, Boston International School is going to host ASDAN Business Simulation Regional Game for Eastern China. This is going to be the first-ever ASDAN Business Simulation held in the Wuxi area.
Business Competition with International School Brunei
Last year, our G11 business students had a 40-minute online business competition with International School Brunei Year 12 business students. The business students of the two schools competed for financial knowledge and skills. It was glad to see all students from two schools so dedicated and excited. They will get to know each other more because we will make the competition a routine at the end of each unit. Communication is a two-way street.
